The effect of 108 obeisanceon reduction of the abdominal obesity

Abstract
This research tested positive effects of doing 108 buddhist obeisances on reduction of abdominal obesity. The methods of doing buddhist¡¯s 108 obeisances on the knees have been known as a kind of an aerobic exercise and good for maintaining one¡¯s health. Cross-sectional analysis was carried out using InBody 4.0 measuring body fat rates between 15%~ 23% and WHR of 0.8~0.9 in both sexes. In addition their Intra abdominal fat, TG average and Body fat percentage were measured after 30days. The results were as follows TG (triglycerides) reduced by averages of 20.9¡¾14.9%; Intra abdominal fats reduced by averages of 22.5¡¾8.9%(p<0.05); Anti-Oxidants increased by averages of 31.3¡¾12.7%(p<0.05); and Body fat rates reduced of 10¡¾3.8%(p<0.05). Based on the results, it was concluded that doing 108 obeisance showed positive effects on reduction in the indication of intra abdominal fats, and anti oxidants, and body fat rates.
